Spectacular 3 Case Turkish Oversized Verge Fusee Man’s Pocket Watch by Prior with Key

CASE: The plain sterling silver oversized 77mm nickel tortoise displays an open face pair case.
DIAL: This white porcelain dial features Turkish numerals, spade and filigree hands.
MOVT: The keyset No. 42,339 gilt movement has a verge escapement, full-plate layout and is signed.

Expert’s Opinion: Prior was known for his Turkish watches - this is one of his early ones. The outer tortoise case is truly wonderful in color and condition. The two inner cases have been remade in the 19th Century and beautifully done. A special watch!
