CASE: The sterling silver No. 27,360 oversized 63mm triple case features
an open face and painted horn decoration.
DIAL: This white porcelain dial displays Roman numerals, spade/baton
hands and is signed “Higgs & Evans.”
MOVT: This key-set No. 27,360 movement with verge fusee escapement is
gilt with a full plate layout and is signed.

Expert’s Opinion: Well noted makers. Animal horn was used to cover outer
case, this was then painted with various scenes. This rare watch has a military
scene of an American vessel and an armed soldier. Quite an intriguing watch.
(Horn has an age crack but shouldn’t hurt the value.
