CASE: The 18K yellow gold, 41.5mm, swing-out case features enamel and paste
decorations.
DIAL: This white porcelain dial displays Arabic/Roman numerals, fancy hands and
is signed “Duchene & Compagnie”.
MOVT: This key-set movement with verge escapement is gilt with a full plate
layout.

Dumb repeater – a rare, but somewhat practical type of repeater that actually causes the case to vibrate rather than create an audible tone. It was designed for the hearing impaired, and does have a very practical use for people who are both visually and hearing impaired.
A particularly rare fusee pocket watch with double dial and ¼ - hour pump toc repeater, one side has traditional 12-hour dial while opposite side has a 24-hour (single rotation) dial, both dials signed.
