Antique late 18th century Swiss magnificent three-colored 18-karat gold snuff box, of oval scalloped contour form, the lid chased in colored golds with musical instruments, decorated with fine floral scrollwork and pellets on a concentric engine-turned ground, within chased coloured raised foliate borders. The four oval flower panels are actually hidden panels that open with hidden latches, that when pressed, open to reveal painted ivory portraits.
