A classic 1970s Swiss chronograph from Wakmann, featuring a stainless steel case with bold oversized bombe lugs and a striking silver dial with black accents. This vintage chronograph is powered by the reliable manual-wind Valjoux 7733, one of the most respected workhorse chronograph calibers used by many Swiss brands during the late 1960s and 1970s.
The case was supplied by J.P. Pingouin, a well-known importer of Swiss watches into the United States during the 1960s–1980s. With its tachymeter scale, 20-minute chronograph register, and classic vintage styling, this Wakmann chronograph represents an excellent example of mid-century Swiss chronograph design.
