Complications: Perpetual calendar, moon phase, moon age, chronograph, 30-minute register and carillion.
CASE: The 18K rose gold No. 55,802 20-size oversize 62mm plain case weighs 145 dwts, 225 grams T.W. and is signed “Complicirt”
DIAL: This white porcelain dial features Arabic numerals, filigree hands and signed “Uhrenfabrik Union.”
MOVT: The 32-jewel lever-set No. 55,802 gilt movement has a lever escapement, bridge-style layout and is signed.
CONDITIONS:
C 2-22 (The case is in perfect condition, later original)
D 2 (The dial is in perfect condition)
M 2 (The movement is in perfect condition)
R 10+ (Rarity on a scale of #1 being very common to #10 being extremely rare.)
Experts Opinion: Well, there isn’t much you can say about this watch. One of the most complicated watches made by this German Union of watchmakers. Later cased by factory likely after war. Last one sold in German auction without carillion for $250,000.00 plus 22% commission or $305,000.00. The carillion feature makes this watch unique! After further digging and research, it has come to my attention the following was likely the situation in the manufacturing of this wonderful timepiece.
As you are likely aware of: When a major companythis case Glashutte Uhrenfabrick Union or "Glashutte Watchmakers Union" is given a special order for an extremely complicated watch they quite often made two movements rather than just one. It was just as easy to make two parts as one.

We believe this was the case here! The movements were then cased to
order. Of course the first one was cased and sold, while the second
movement only was stocked for future sale.
The unused condition of this complex movement implies it was not cased
and sold, but stored as a movement only for a large number of years.
