This unique one-of-a-kind item is an automated scene of the Hindu god
Vishnu. The interior scene begins its automation when the top lid of the
case is opened. This colorful painted scene shows Vishnu with an arm
going in an up/down motion while the servant located to the left of the
scene bows to this Hindu god. The colorful scene is finely detailed with
the god Vishnu shown holding a discus and a conch shell, while another
hand is holding a lotus flower. The silver and gilt box automatically
pops open when a silver lever on the front is activated. The top of the
box is beautifully detailed with silver/gold gilt engraving of Vishnu.
Gilt outer edge work, fancy lotus flowers and leaves are engraved on the
outer edges of the box. The box is in mint condition and it is presented
with an original fitted leather case.
